Brazing Sheet Aluminum

Brazing is also much easier then welding it s a lot like using a glue gun. Also it is not brazing it is still soldering brazing by definition occurs at over 450c most of these filler alloys zinc and aluminum melt around 390c. T oo much oxygen or gas will blow the torch out so slowly adding oxygen to achieve optimum brazing flame is advised. The equipment in this project can be bought for as little as 30 dollars.

Apply this paste to the areas on the metal pieces that will be joined using the brush. Wipe the areas on the metal pieces that will be joined with the emery cloth so the surfaces are free from dust and grease. We have developed and are refining a variety of products of this sort. Brazing aluminum is a quick and inexpensive option for repairing leaks cracks or holes in aluminum and is often found in air conditioning repairs.

Use a torch that produces a high intensity flame.
