Specially formulated dyes are designed to withstand carpet cleaning. Carpet color sidematch corrections or feather blending is performed on carpet nylon wool that has a color difference at the seams. Specifically trained color blending experts work with manufacturers to correct sidematch concerns. Feather blending is performed onsite by applying carpet dyes to the lighter side of the carpet to blend the color.

Color side match can be corrected by feather blending. Correction was achieved by feather dyeing and blending at the seams. Feather blending is an on site process designed to correct color sidematch issues in both residential and commercial carpeting. For a variety of reasons carpet will sometimes change color from side to side or from end to end.

Color matched carpet dye is applied to the light side and blended away from the seam. Our unique carpet dye feather blending system permanently corrects carpet color. Correctly done it becomes difficult for the human eye to notice the difference in shade between the joined panels of carpet. Feather blending is a process where the shade on the dark side of the carpet is matched and carefully feathered into the lighter side.
